We opened the month of November with two away fixtures up North, visiting Mzuzu City Hammers on November 1st and Songwe Border United on November 5th.
From these two encounters, we collected two points out of a possible six, despite showing great determination and character in both matches.
In Mzuzu, we were moments away from securing maximum points after Frank Phiri put us ahead from the penalty spot early in the second half. However, a controversial 84th-minute penalty awarded by referee Edson Chagala denied Creck Sporting a well-deserved victory at Mzuzu Stadium.
Our next stop was Karonga, where we faced relegation-threatened Songwe Border United. After falling behind, we showed resilience and fought back to earn a draw through Hassan Hussein.
Our third November assignment was against Karonga United, marking our return to Aubrey Dimba Stadium after four straight away fixtures. A brilliant 13th-minute strike from Ramadhan Ntafu sealed our first second-round home victory adding to our previous results of six draws, one loss to Silver Strikers, and one win over Mighty Tigers.
We closed the month in style with a 2-0 triumph over FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on November 30th. Goals from George Chaomba and Jackson Beza secured our historic first-ever league win over the Blantyre giants, lifting us to 9th position our second victory of the second round.
Chaomba’s introduction in the second half proved decisive as he changed the rhythm and intensity of the game. He was later voted player of the match
Though Chitipa United’s midweek win over Mighty Tigers reshuffled the standings, pushing us to 10th place, the team’s fighting spirit and consistency remain evident.
Our attention now shifts to this weekend’s TNM Super League fixture as we travel to Champions Stadium on Sunday for a challenging away match against Kamuzu Barracks. #TheCrecks
