Creck Sporting are out of the 2025 FDH Bank Cup after a goalless 90 minutes, losing in the post-match penalties to Mighty Wanderers.

From the first whistle, the boys gave it their all fighting with passion and determination in search of an opener.

George Chaomba, who was later voted Player of the Match, put up an outstanding performance with several attempts to break the deadlock, but the Wanderers’ defense stood firm throughout.

In the second half, Creck Sporting pushed even harder, with Harvey Nasiyaya and Ademola Ajibola creating multiple chances, though none could find the back of the net.

With the scoreline still 0–0 after full time, the game went straight to penalties.

Jauma Edward, Ramadhan Ntafu, and Emmance Nyirenda missed their spot-kicks, while Frank Phiri and Chaomba converted theirs, resulting in Creck Sporting’s early exit from this year’s competition.

The team now shifts focus to the TNM Super League as they prepare to face Silver Strikers at Silver Stadium on Tuesday next week.
