A visibly emotional and exhausted coach Kananji attributed team’s recent loss to Civil Service United to a “lack of seriousness” among some players, despite a dominant first-half performance.

Speaking after the match, Kananji pulled no punches, stating that poor coordination gifted our opponents two crucial goals in the second half.

“Poor judgment and poor last touch for our players. I don’t know what really happened to these players; they were up during the first half, but come second half, I’m speechless,” the gaffer lamented.

When questioned about potential pressure on his position, Kananji emphasized the importance of securing maximum points from such fixtures to improve on the standings.

“Our fellow teams are winning; these were supposed to be games collecting maximum points. But with this kind of attitude, then we still have to fight hard, mostly improving in our finishing techniques,” he asserted.

The team currently sits in eleventh position with eleven points from ten games played.

Despite the setback, Kananji expressed confidence that the team will improve in their upcoming fixtures and climb the league standings. We will face Moyale Barracks on Saturday at Aubrey Dimba Stadium.
