Creck Sporting Head Coach Eliya Kananji has described Wednesday’s league clash against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos as a must-win encounter, citing the team’s positive momentum towards the end of the season.
Kananji made the remarks during the team’s pre-match press conference, highlighting several positives ahead of the crucial fixture.
“The team is performing well. We are coming from a 4–2 win over Ekhaya FC, and although we created more chances than we scored, the most important thing now is to win this game and move forward,” said Kananji.
The coach reiterated the club’s mission of finishing the season in the top eight, stressing that the journey begins with the Dedza clash before facing Mafco on the final matchday on Saturday.
“Finishing in the top eight remains our mission. We have the advantage and the belief to achieve it. Starting with the game in Dedza, I trust my boys and the technical team that we will fulfill this target,” he added.
Creck Sporting head into the match on the back of an impressive 4–2 victory over Ekhaya FC, a game in which Patrick Mupanzi netted his first-ever hat-trick since joining the club this season, taking his league tally to five goals.
