Creck Sporting Reserve maintained their position at the summit of the CRFA TVM Division One League after a 1-1 draw against Mponela FC on Saturday.

The result comes just four days after another 1-1 stalemate against Civo Reserve, in which Rodrick Sambani opened the scoring before Civo equalized in the 87th minute.

After seven games, Coach Lazarous Chirwa’s charges have collected 12 points, winning three, drawing three, and losing one. They have netted 13 goals and conceded six, boasting a goal difference of +7.

Wilson Bwemba leads both the team and league scoring charts with six goals, followed closely by Emmanuel Mitole with five.

Coach Chirwa emphasized the importance of maximizing home advantage, acknowledging the challenges faced in away fixtures.

He, however, remains optimistic about the team’s prospects of securing promotion to the Premier Division as the campaign progresses.
