Creck Sporting vs Chitipa United – League Clash This Sunday

Creck Sporting returns to action this weekend as we host Chitipa United in a crucial league encounter on Sunday the second meeting between the two sides this season.

Our first clash ended in a goalless draw during the historic opening of Chitipa’s home ground, which also broke records by generating K18 million in gate revenue, the highest ever recorded.

We head into this match after a 1-1 draw against Blue Eagles last weekend, with Frank Phiri equalizing in the 12th minute to secure a point.

Head coach Kananji remains confident as the team continues its unbeaten run in the second round, now three games without defeat.

“We are the ones who need the maximum points the most to climb the table. We haven’t tasted victory in the second round yet, so this is a must-win for us,” Coach Kananji

CRFA TVM Division One League – Kickoff This Saturday

Our reserve team begins their CRFA TVM Division One League campaign this Saturday, hosting Lobi Young Soccer FC at Lilongwe Community Ground.

Creck Reserve qualified for the knockout stage after finishing 4th in Group B, collecting 19 points from 11 matches.

Top scorer Nicolus Jackson led the charge with 4 goals in 7 appearances.

The competition will follow a home-and-away format. The top three teams will earn automatic promotion to the Premier Division, while the 4th and 5th-placed teams will battle it out in the promotion play-offs.
