As we prepare to face Mafco FC on Saturday afternoon at Chitowe Stadium in Dwangwa, Interim Head Coach Harry Saidi has announced a 20-man squad for the trip.

Notably absent from the squad are captain Hadji Wali, Gift Kadawati, and Peter Godfrey, who are still recovering from injuries.

Patrick Mupanzi has been left out of the squad due to illness since Monday.

The squad includes talented and skillful players aiming for a third consecutive victory, following a 2-0 win over Songwe Border United last week.

Nigerian midfielder Ademola Ajibola and Isaac Msiska have been recalled after being omitted last week.

Hardy Ng’andu has been excluded from the squad as he will be traveling back home to pay his last respects following the passing of his stepmother.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Coach Saidi expressed confidence in the team’s preparations, particularly focusing on improving finishing in front of goal.

“Our preparations have heavily focused on finishing. We’ve had challenges in that area, but with the training we’ve done this week, I believe the boys will deliver a good result,” Saidi stated.

Saidi is hopeful for a victory come Saturday at Chitowe.
