Creck Sporting head coach Eliya Kananji has emphasized the importance of full focus ahead of Sunday’s clash against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets , saying the team is determined to collect maximum points even if it means “playing lungs out.”
Kananji has urged his charges to make full use of the home ground advantage, despite FCB Nyasa Big Bullets sitting higher on the log table.
He also addressed how he is managing pressure as the team continues its push up the standings.
“Our focus remains collecting maximum points to push up on the log table, and this will only happen if everything we’ve been practicing is applied on matchday.”
” The challenge remains moving away from the relegation zone. We cannot run away from the performances that placed us on position 10, so we need to fight harder and harder for our top-8 mission.” Eliya Kananji
When asked about what he has been doing to shift the team’s performance, the gaffer said results will come through commitment and hunger on the pitch.
“It’s about the fighting spirit without being intimidated by their supporters. It will be better to reward ourselves by playing well, creating a lot of chances, and pushing for success.”
Match kicks off at 14:30 PM at Aubrey Dimba Stadium.
