Creck Sporting is back in action this Saturday as we host Moyale Barracks in the FDH Cup Round of 16 a highly anticipated fixture following the brief suspension of football activities by the Football Association of Malawi due to the country’s 2025 General Elections.

This weekend’s match will be our second home fixture at Aubrey Dimba Stadium this season, where we previously secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Moyale in the first round of the league campaign.

With confidence high, Creck will be aiming to replicate that result and book a historic place in the FDH Cup quarter-finals a milestone we’ve yet to reach since earning promotion to the top flight.
The squad has regrouped and is focused ahead of this crucial encounter.

Head coach Eliya Kananji confirmed that all players are available for selection, except Kondwani Chilembwe, who continues his recovery from injury.

Creck remain unbeaten in the second round of the 2025/26 league season, following a 1-1 draw against Mighty Wanderers two weeks ago.

Our journey to this stage of the FDH Cup was secured thanks to a 4th-minute strike from Patrick Mupanzi, which gave us a hard-fought win over Dedza Dynamos last month.

The return of the Nigerian duo Peter Godfrey and Babangida Ishaya to full training is a major boost for the squad heading into this high-stakes clash

Moyale Barracks come into this match after a 1-1 draw with Mafco FC in league action. They currently sit 12th on the Super League table with 19 points, and will be looking to make their own mark in the FDH Cup.

A win on Saturday would see Creck advance to the FDH Cup quarter-finals for the first time a massive achievement for a club that continues to defy expectations.

After last year’s heartbreak against Baka City (1-0 defeat) at this same stage, the team is hungry to go further.

With home advantage and momentum on our side, Creck Sporting will look to rise to the occasion.

Let’s fill up Aubrey Dimba Stadium and rally behind the boys as they chase history. Your support makes the difference
