CRECK SPORTING: As We Head Towards the Weekend

Creck Sporting will play their third second-round fixture of the TNM Super League this Sunday afternoon against Blue Eagles. The game was initially scheduled for Saturday but was pushed to Sunday following communication from the Super League of Malawi. Venue and kickoff time remain unchanged.


The Kananji boys return from the international break after holding Mighty Wanderers to a goalless draw eleven days ago. Coach Elia Kananji is targeting maximum points, having picked up two points from a possible six against Civil Service United and Wanderers without conceding.


This will be Creck’s second meeting with the Area 30-based officers this season, after a goalless draw in the first round. The fixture also brings a personal test for Coach Kananji, who faces his former side.


Blue Eagles is Coming from a 1-1 draw against Mzuzu City Hammers, currently sit 8th with 24 points from 17 games.


Creck Sporting, Sitting 9th with 20 points, with 12 games left, victory could push them up the table depending on goal difference and other results.
This will also be Creck’s second home fixture in the second round, following the clash with Civil Service United.

Our women’s side will be on the road this Saturday at Gurani Ground to face Hungry Lions FC.


Coach Chisomo Nkhoma is optimistic of securing victory and believes the team can return to the log table with a win. Should they collect maximum points, it will be their sixth match and move them to 15 points

The reserves remain on break after booking a spot in the last eight of the CRFA TVM Division One League.
