Following the triumphant 2-0 victory over FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Creck Sporting Club patron Apostle Clifford Kawinga has rewarded each player with MK250,000 in recognition of their historic achievement.
The win, secured through brilliant second-half strikes from George Chaomba and Jackson Beza, marked Creck Sporting’s first-ever victory over the defending champions at Aubrey Dimba Stadium.
Speaking when he hosted the team at his residence in Area 43, Lilongwe, Apostle Kawinga urged the players to maintain discipline and keep pushing with the same winning mentality in the remaining fixtures.
“I am committed and reaffirm my full support to you if you continue giving me the results and keep me happy. I wish you well always and continue praying for the team to remain blessed and focused. I am with you always,” said Apostle Kawinga.
He further encouraged the technical panel to embrace unity, love, and cooperation in carrying out their duties.
As part of the rewards, the defensive unit, Jauma Edward, Talandira Chigaula, Hardy Ng’andu, Dalitso Nahipa, and goalkeeper Emmance Nyirenda received an additional MK70,000 each for their solid performance and clean sheet.
Goal-scorers also earned extra incentives, with Jackson Beza getting MK100,000 for his goal, while George Chaomba received MK120,000 for scoring and being voted Man of the Match.
Club chairperson Muhammad Seleman expressed gratitude to the patron for sparing time to meet the squad, describing the gesture as a major motivation that will push the team to deliver even better results going forward.
