“I want to do more” – Mupanzi
Creck Sporting’s in-form striker Patrick Mupanzi says he is determined to keep up his scoring momentum and help the team achieve its goals this season.
Mupanzi has found the back of the net in back-to-back league games against Mighty Tigers and Silver Strikers, taking his tally to two league goals.
The forward also scored an early opener in the FDH Bank Cup Round of 32 tie against Dedza Dynamos, a goal that helped Creck advance to the next round, and he played a vital role in the 2-1 win over Moyale Barracks in the Round of 16.
“My job is to score goals. I’ve had time to think about how I can help the team even more. This gives me a chance to reflect and improve, but my main target is to push and help the team finish in the top eight,” said Mupanzi.
Mupanzi’s two-goal record places him alongside George Chaomba, Kondwani Chilembwe, Hassan Hussein, and Frank Phiri, who have also scored two league goals each.
“I want to prove that I can play alongside experienced players and my age mates. My teammates always encourage me to grow, and I believe I’ll keep improving,”he added.
Mupanzi joined Creck Sporting from Chilomoni united this year.
