Coach Eliya Kananji has urged his team to approach the upcoming TNM Super League clash against Civil Service United with utmost seriousness, reminding the troops to forget their previous result against Ekhaya FC.

Kananji, who is confident of securing a victory, highlighted the mistakes made during our disappointing 1-0 defeat to Ekhaya in Blantyre.

Speaking to our media ahead of the crucial match, Kananji emphasized the team’s thorough preparations and the positive mindset of his players as we strive for maximum points.

“Our preparations have gone well and I’m happy with the positive attitude of the boys,” said the gaffer. “I’m really optimistic; if they follow what we’ve been working on for the past 10 days, we will claim the victory.”

Kananji, who previously coached Civil Service United, also touched upon his former team’s potential mentality for the game.

“I once coached Civil and I know their mentality sometimes. They will need to show that they can do better over me, but my target is to win and be in a better position on the standings. What matters most is three points.”

This will be Kananji’s second match at the helm since joining Creck’s as Head Coach.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:30PM.
