Creck Sporting Club is set for a challenging TNM Super League encounter this Wednesday against Lilongwe’s Civil Service United.

The match kicks off at Civo Stadium, and it’s a particularly interesting fixture for our head coach, Eliya Kananji, who previously managed Civil Service United.

Creck SC enters this match looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-0 league defeat against Ekhaya in Blantyre last week.

Under Kananji’s leadership, the team is gearing up for what promises to be an uphill battle against their Lilongwe opponents.

Civil Service United, while also experiencing a challenging league season, recently saw a 2-1 exit in the Airtel Top 8 semi-final against Silver Strikers at Bingu National Stadium. They secured their semi-final spot after a convincing 4-0 victory over Mzuzu City Hammers.

Last season, we split the Super League meetings. Creck claimed a 2-1 victory in the second-round fixture in Mponela, with George Chaomba netting a brace for Creck, while Damiano Kunje scored for Civil.

The first-round match saw Civil emerge with a 2-1 win, with goals from Muhammad Biason and Chifundo Ngapemba, while George Chaomba was on target for Creck.

Notably, George Chaomba has been directly involved in all our three league goals against Civil Service United in the past encounters.

Heading into Wednesday’s match, Creck Sporting Club is in 9th position with 11 points from nine(9) games played, having scored seven(7) goals and conceded eleven(11).

Civil Service United, who are also struggling in the league, sit in 14th position with 6 points from eight games so far.

Officiation Panel of Creck Sporting club and Civil Service United game has been also confirmed.
