Creck Sporting Club continues to struggle in the top-flight league, having suffered their fourth defeat, this time against Mighty Wanderers on Sunday at Champions Stadium in Mponela.

Joseph Kamwendo’s squad aimed for their second league victory after securing their first win over Mighty Tigers a week earlier. From the first whistle, We displayed some beautiful tactical movements, pushing for an early lead before the visitors could settle.

However, a well-curved strike by Francisco Madinga in the 57th minute proved decisive, as it secured all three points for the visitors and left Creck SC further down the standings.

In the dying moments, Isaac Msiska came agonizingly close to equalizing, but his shot narrowly missed the post, leaving the home fans despondent. Creck created several scoring opportunities throughout the match but failed to capitalize on them until the final whistle.

Despite making several substitutions—introducing Frank Phiri, Harvey Nasiyaya, Patrick Mupanzi, Isaac Msiska, and Stain Patrick to intensify the attack—Creck’s strikers could not register a single shot on target.

On a positive note, Akuzike Lifa and Miracle Gabeya formed a solid partnership at the back, demonstrating their prowess in commanding play and winning aerial duels during set pieces. Jauma Edward and Misheck Bottoman also showed promise but require more game time to develop greater composure in possession.

Attention now shifts to Wednesday, as we prepares to face Kamuzu Barracks at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji.
